Weekend Choral Adventure: The Silent CanonBerkshire Choral International Who do we celebrate and why? Western classical music is often experienced through a narrow lens that leaves out important figures and works of art. Sing with us and explore choral music, composers and genres that sit outside the “canon” and highlight the stories and history that makes this music unique. In addition, we’ll learn tips and techniques to address current social issues through productive conversations. Dr. Anthony Trecek-King cultivates artistically excellent ensembles that explore socially relevant issues through emotionally immersive programs. |
