Heritage Chorale, founded in 1984, is an amateur choir made up of singers who have had musical training and/or substantial singing experience. We perform choral masterworks in a variety of styles and from all periods, including challenging pieces from the modern period.
We seek an artistic director with strong experience in musical education and choral conducting to start in the fall 2022 season. Two-hour rehearsals are held weekly on Monday evenings from late August into April, with a break from mid-November to January. Two performances of each concert are given in the fall and spring, normally in November and mid-April. Additional special concerts and community activities may also be scheduled, and the artistic director attends monthly board meetings.
Heritage Chorale’s artistic director, members, accompanists, guest artists, and audience members are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to participate in the choir’s activities. Heritage Chorale follows CDC, county, and local guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
