An essential part of creating a safe and joyful space for us to gather in Baltimore this June is establishing clear COVID-19 safety protocols. We are so excited to reconnect with the Chorus America community in person, and we will do everything we can to create a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe environment for everyone. We ask all In-Person Event attendees to do their part in respecting the health and safety of our entire Conference community, and we aim be as responsive as possible to any and all questions.
Yes – vaccinations and boosters are required to attend the June In-Person Event in Baltimore.
Conference registrants will verify their vaccination status prior to arriving at the Conference through our vaccination tracking platform, CrowdPass. All registrants will receive more information via email the week prior to the Conference about submitting their proof of vaccination through CrowdPass. When submitting proof of vaccination, registrants will also answer health screening questions and agree to a waiver of liability.
For the safest environment for all attendees, we are planning for a fully masked In-Person Event. Mask wearing will be required and enforced during all parts of the Baltimore Event unless specifically noted otherwise.
We will fully abide by guidelines from the CDC and local public health agencies, as well as any requirements from state or local governments and Conference venues. If protocols evolve based on new public health information, we will notify all In-Person Event registrants.
Face masks that cover the nose and mouth will be required. We strongly encourage the use of KN95, N95, or KF94 masks for extra protection. All masks must meet CDC standards; neck gaiters, bandanas, and masks with exhalation valves or vents are not permitted.
We will provide a face covering that meets our guidelines for any attendee who does not have one with them.
Attendees with a medical or religious exemption will have the option to submit a negative COVID-19 test to our Crowdpass platform to clear them for entry to the Conference. For any questions, please email membership@chorusamerica.org. Chorus America will supply rapid COVID tests for daily submission for attendees with medical or religious exemptions.
Yes. In accordance with Conference guidelines, attendees of concerts that are part of the Conference will need to be vaccinated, boosted, and wear a well-fitting mask covering their nose and mouth while inside the concert venues. Proof of vaccination may be provided at concert venues by showing a Conference badge or, for members of the public, showing a print or digital copy of a vaccine card and a photo ID.
All registrations are fully transferable up to seven (7) days before the Baltimore Event. Alternatively, you may receive a refund of $250 if you want to cancel your In-Person Event registration, and you will retain full access to the Online Event content. For more information, please visit the Cancellation and Substitution Policy on our Registration page and don’t hesitate to contact us at service@chorusamerica.org if you have any questions.
If a positive COVID test occurs at our Conference, Chorus America will follow CDC recommendations for contact tracing, and provide any necessary updates to Baltimore Event attendees in a transparent manner. (*Current CDC guidelines advise that vaccinated individuals do not have to quarantine after a close contact, unless they develop symptoms or test positive for COVID.)
Anyone testing positive for COVID should follow CDC guidelines for isolation. For the health and safety of all In-Person Event attendees and their communities, we urge you to notify the Chorus America staff immediately in the unfortunate event that you test positive for COVID. Chorus America will protect the privacy and rights of any individuals who come to us to disclose a positive test result.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at service@chorusamerica.org. We continue to work on providing further details on our health and safety guidelines.
